The Chisinau International Airport will be renamed, in the memory of the great departed composer Eugen Doga, as a sign of gratitude and respect for his remarkable contribution to the development and promotion of Moldova’s culture. The government has approved a decision to this end.
Thus, the Eugen Doga Chisinau International Airport becomes a symbol not only of transportation, but also of the artistic and spiritual heritage of the country. ‘’Moldova can generate extraordinary talents, universal talents,’’ emphasized Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
