Scena Ateneului Român, simbolul suprem al culturii naționale, a găzduit marți, 24 februarie, un moment de o înaltă încărcătură simbolică pentru muzica clasică. David Dumitrescu, un pianist de doar 12 ani, a evoluat în premieră în cadrul unui concert-eveniment dedicat memoriei marelui compozitor Eugen Doga.

The evening of Dragobete marked a historic moment for one of the youngest and most talented exponents of Romanian culture nowadays. On the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum, in an atmosphere dominated by respect and emotion, the pianist David Dumitrescu, aged just 12, gave his first concert in this emblematic venue. The event, dedicated to the memory of the great composer Eugen Doga, was an act of reverence for a universal work and a confirmation of the strength of the new generation of musicians.
